1 1/2 cups homemade or store-bought milk of choice (we used a homemade hempseed milk)
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp spirulina powder
1 dropper Everyday Plus Mint Chocolate
1 tsp fresh ginger, peeled, finely chopped
1 drop vanilla extract
1 cup ice
1 date*, pitted
1 drop spearmint essential oil extract*
Stevia to taste*
In a high-speed blender combine all ingredients, except ice and CW and blend on high for 60-90 seconds. Add ice to blender and pulse for 30 seconds to chill. Add CW. Pulse again to mix and then serve immediately for a rejuvenating beverage.
*Optional Ingredients. Leave out date and or Stevia for a lower sugar option. Leave out mint flavor if not available. I used a food grade essential oil by doterra, but can also use a peppermint extract, or 1 organic peppermint breath mint, if you are feeling creative.
All ingredients preferably organic.
