What is cannabidiol (CBD)?

Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid. Cannabinoids are chemical compounds found in hemp plants. There are over 80 different cannabinoids; cannabidiol is one of them.  

The US Department of Health & Human Services has patented (#6630507) a diverse group of plant chemicals, cannabinoids, as "neuroprotectants."

Research shows significant potential for cannabidiol to be a valuable contributor to health & wellness benefits. Hemp contains other beneficial cannabinoids such as tetrahydrocannabinol, tetrahydrocannabivarin, cannabigerol, cannabichromene, and cannabinol. CW Hemp contains all cannabinoids, including CBD.
